Soma Creates Incorporated builds interactive toys for parents and their toddlers. Our mission is to create early childhood experiences that would not have been possible through traditional mediums. We do this through the novel application of technology to create toys; while parents, through our toys, create, share, and grow with their children.

Josh Heidebrecht, Founder

Josh Heidebrecht, a father of two, has been building software professionally since grade school. The birth of Soma Creates came about as his passion for his children and software came together. As an innovator, Josh has built leading edge systems for Fortune 100 companies that include IBM, Verizon, & AT&T among others across North America. Foreseeing the rise of applications for mobile consumers, Josh entered into the wireless foray in 2003 with a mobile game for the Vodafone Group. Not leaving the burgeoning mobile application industry, Josh changed focus to voice recognition applications for mobile consumers on the go. In 2008 Josh renewed Soma Creates’ original mission to provide mobile entertainment experiences—specifically for Apple’s iPhone.
